SURFRIDER FOUNDATION AUSTRALLIA
This series is an Ocean awareness collection to help support the efforts of Surfrider Foundation.
We all face growing challenges from development, pollution and climate change.
Surfrider is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the worlds oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network, Conservation, Activism, Research and Education or C.A.R.E.
Their vision is to inspire an engaged surfing and coastal community who are passionate about protecting oceans, waves and beaches.
Today, the Surfrider Foundation movement has grown to 18 countries around the world.
I travelled to five beaches around Australia throughout 2017, stood waiting for surfers to come out of the water and asked if i can take a portrait on the beach. I created a little portable studio and used a battery operated studio flash.
Please keep the oceans clean, stop using single use plastic and make a difference. These images are 'as-is' un-touched and un-cropped.
Please help by donating to www.surfrider.org.au so they can help us to keep our oceans healthy.
